Sometimes I start early on my local Christmas shopping, knowing that if a store doesn’t carry an item, they’ll order it and have it for me in time. When I visit my family in Houston close to Christmas, it is so crazy in the big malls that I dread going out on that last-minute shopping excursion. Go local, but plan ahead!

I’m willing to shop local – but the Internet beckons. I appreciate local stores that also have a web store. I can shop online, but also see the merchandise in person.

I find myself taking a trip, just to go shopping, then shopping, just to make the trip worthwhile. Then i find out the same stuff is in Nacogdoches, sometimes at a better price!

I plan on doing a good bit of Christmas shopping on Saturday, Nov. 8. The Veteran’s Day Parade begins at 11 a.m., so I can start downtown (where else can you watch a parade and shop???!!), then move around town to some of my favorites like Laine’s Hallmark.
Great idea, Buckley. We have made that link.
The Farmers’ Market is really going great – thank you and your colleagues for keeping it going every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon, on Pearl Street at West Main.
I get these ads all the time from 1800PETMEDS to get my pet supplies cheaper from them but I always shop at the local pet store Petsense. I like to support the local stores. Thank you Nacogdoches for the variety of stores to choose from. Please keep more stores coming!
I still think the name should be “Keep Nacogdoches Charming.” Just my two cents.

I like your website. Is there any way you could link to the Farmers’ Market? farmermktnac.blogspot.com/
