The City of Nacogdoches Main Street Program and the future Nacogdoches Waterworks
invite you to join us in historic downtown Nacogdoches for a family-friendly evening of “Fun in the Sun”.
Free appetizers and drinks will be served inside the visitor’s center as we kick off the new campaign to help bring Nacogdoches a new splash center! Help us kick off this great cause in downtown with lots of children’s activities, boats on display, vintage and classic cars, and late night shopping till 8 p.m.!! We hope to see you at the Visitor’s Center, 200 E. Main Street for August’s First Friday Cruise Nights, so swim on in to downtown on Friday, August 7th, 2009.
We will have lots of activities for the entire family! Water balloon toss, watermelon eating contest, and limbo just to name a few! “I am so happy to join up with this great group of people who are trying to help the Nacogdoches Community,” said Main Street Manager Sarah
O’Brien, “If you want to know what this whole water park project is all about, this is one evening you don’t want to miss.”
We invite enthusiasts to cruise into downtown between 5 and 8 p.m. Car Clubs, Antique Cars, Boats, and Motorcycles welcome. Enthusiasts are asked to contact Doug James at Lone Star Scooters and ATV at 936-560-2228 with questions.
